Mongol is a legendary empire in 1200s. With the expansion of the Mongols Empire , the Mongols settled almost all over Eurasia and carried on military campaigns from the Adriatic Sea to Java and from Japan to Palestine.
The unforgettable tragedy occured in 1258 which is destruction of Abbasi Empire by the Mongols. Hulagu Khan, the legendary commander led the invasion to Baghdad. Almost all muslim was killed in this fight. Some of the scholar said that a river near Baghdad had turned dark red due to blood of moslem and ink from the thousands of literatures which was thrown away to that river.

Actually, Mongols has a very characteristic face similar to the one who suffers Thalassemia. It is a genetic disease which affects haemoglobin synthesis.In fact,this patient will suffer a triad of clinical manifestation which are mongoloid face, anemia and jaundice. Mongoloid face characterized by depression of upper nose fold, prominent maxilla etc. Moreover, they are a lot of problem involved in this genetic disease such as splenomegaly, heart failure, hemochromatosis, gall bladder stones etc. Sadly, there are no treatment to this disease but the patient should take blood transfusion around 4 times a month.
When seeing this patient, we will realize how lucky we are. They have to fight this disease everyday. They wish to be a normal guy but they know it is impossible and accept it as godwills. Therefore we as healthy individual should be more thankful to god and do whatever He ask us to do. Do much hassanah to the people around you and ibadah before you turn to be a corpse;
